  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda and salt, then mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Stir in flour until just combined, then fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
