Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls with Easy Apple Filling

A delicious blend of apple pie and cinnamon rolls, perfect for any occasion!

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and add to the dry ingredients.
  4. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  6. Roll the dough out, spread butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  7. Add chopped apples and roll the dough into a log.
  8. Slice the log into rolls and place in a baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more cinnamon.
