- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped apples
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk and add to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Roll the dough out, spread butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Add chopped apples and roll the dough into a log.
- Slice the log into rolls and place in a baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
