Irresistible Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese Recipe

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo sauce
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and Buffalo sauce to the pot; mix well.
  5. Fold in the cooked macaroni and 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can be garnished with extra Buffalo sauce if desired.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less Buffalo sauce.
