  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, and sauté the onions until translucent.
  3. Add the diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in the turkey bacon, carrots, and peas.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir for 1 minute.
  6. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, cooking until thickened.
  7. Season with garlic powder and thyme.
  8. Pour the mixture into a pie crust and cover with another crust. Seal the edges.
  9. Cut slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
