  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 3 large eggs
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together oil, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and eggs.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Once the cake is cool, spread the cheesecake filling on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
