  • 2 cans of cinnamon roll dough
  • 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Unroll one can of cinnamon rolls and press them into the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Add half of the apple mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  6. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the apples.
  8. Add the remaining apples and top with the second can of cinnamon rolls, pressing gently to flatten.
  9. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with pecans.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
