  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tray with cupcake liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk, until everything is combined.
  6. In another bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon to create the cinnamon filling.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, add a spoonful of the cinnamon filling, then top with more batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let them cool, then frost with cream cheese frosting.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the frosting.
