Creamy White Lasagna Delight

A rich and comforting lasagna experience that brings together creamy sauces and layers of pasta.

  • 12 lasagna noodles lasagna noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach, wilted
  • 2 cups white sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, spinach, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of white sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer three lasagna noodles over the sauce, then add a portion of the cheese mixture and another layer of white sauce. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and remaining sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider using a homemade white sauce.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
