4 cups cubed stale bread
2 cups eggnog
3 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine eggnog, eggs, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
Add the cubed bread and raisins, if using. Stir to combine and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and drizzle the melted butter on top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
