- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture, followed by a layer of meat and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layering process, finishing with noodles and marinara on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
