  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture, followed by a layer of meat and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
  7. Repeat the layering process, finishing with noodles and marinara on top.
  8. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 45 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving.
