A delicious and hearty Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole recipe featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham that’s perfect for brunch.

  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 6 slices chicken ham
  • 1 loaf brioche bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Remove bacon and in the same skillet sauté the chicken ham for a few minutes.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  5. Cut the brioche into cubes and layer half of them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Add the cooked turkey bacon and chicken ham on top, then layer the remaining brioche cubes.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the casserole and sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the eggs are set and the top is golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • Make it ahead of time: Prepare the dish the night before and refrigerate overnight.
