One Pot Macaroni Cheeseburger Soup

A hearty and delicious one-pot meal that combines the flavors of macaroni, cheeseburger, and turkey bacon.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in turkey bacon, onion, and garlic; cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add macaroni and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in shredded cheese, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider adding crushed red pepper flakes.
  • This soup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
