  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the pan and brown them on both sides.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together honey and BBQ sauce.
  5. Pour the honey BBQ mixture over the chicken and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the rice and chicken broth to the pan, stir well, and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for about 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
