  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together pancake mix, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until combined.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and layer cooked sausage evenly on the bottom.
  5. Pour the pancake batter over the sausage and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
