Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. Pour water evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
