Rattlesnake Pasta

A delicious and spicy twist on traditional pasta dishes featuring turkey bacon, peppers, and a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the bell and jalapeño peppers until softened.
  4. Add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and crushed red pepper; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked fettuccine, bacon, and sauce; toss well.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and season with salt.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more jalapeños.
  • You can substitute chicken bacon if desired.
