Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, stirring to combine.
  4. Mix in baking soda and salt, then add sugar and flour, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack.
