  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Evenly distribute the batter into the muffin tins, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
