Korean-Inspired Kimchi Bulgogi Cheesesteak

A delicious twist on a classic cheesesteak featuring kimchi and turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté until soft.
  3. Add the flank steak, cooked turkey bacon, and chopped kimchi to the skillet, cooking until the steak is browned.
  4. Slice the hoagie rolls and layer with the meat mixture and provolone cheese.
  5. Toast in the oven until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add spices like garlic powder or sesame oil.
  • Substitute flank steak with chicken or tofu for a different protein.
