- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, matcha powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
- Pour yeast mixture into flour mixture and knead until dough is smooth.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread sliced strawberries over it.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
